Needs:

The aim of the contest is to produce the official poster for the 2015 edition of the « SSL Lake Grand Slam », the first Grand Slam regatta of its kind in the history of sailing.

TECHNICAL CONSIDERATIONS
The poster must be produced on a computer.
The file must be compatible with Adobe Illustrator®, Adobe Photoshop® or Adobe InDesign®.
The files and fonts for PC and Mac must all be included in the submission folder.
All elements in the project must be vectorised (Non vector-based projects will be excluded from the contest). Format: A3 (29,7 x 42 cm) portrait orientation.
Quality : 300 dpi minimum. Posters (A4 to A0) will be offset printed in 4 colours.
GRAPHICS CHARTER Required Theme
The artist must draw inspiration from one (or more) of the following general themes when creating his poster:
a. Regattas
b. The SSL
c. One of our Champions, see http://www.starsailors.com/starsailors/rankings/skippers.html)
Requirements
The poster must be adapted for visibility in an urban setting.
If the artist wishes to include a boat, it must be in line with the Star class boat design (see Appendix 3/5)
The artist must include or use in some form the SSL general logo within his artwork (see next point for details).
Open Elements
The artist is allowed to adapt the dimensions, shape and colours of the SSL general logo.
The artist may include the event name « SSL LAKE GRAND SLAM » if they desire. They may also reserve a spot for the event name and its sponsors’ logos.
The overall work can be in colour or black and white.
