DIXIADES YAOUNDE 2014 LOGO COMPETITION
For designers : We want a logo to represent Yaounde, but Yaounde within the country (the competition will oppose several Cameron cities -so you don't have to use the colors of the contry !!). Yaounde has no proper flag so no official colors to use.
But the logo needs to represent Yaounde, knowing that this city is the political capital of Cameron. You can see some pics of the city here http://goo.gl/OXXILP that can give you inspiration.

The logo of Rio 2016 can be taken as an inspiration : no Brasil colors, for instance, tends to show the plurality of the cultures mixing blue orange and green people, whoever they can be.

Reprise des couleurs du drapeau du cameroun, logo en format portrait pour montrer l'impact et le message qu'il transmet ainsi la lecture est plus simple et claire.
Le logo des JO est mis au dessus de l'élément principal car il faut au premier regard savoir et distinguer de quoi il s'agit.
J'ai choisi le lion comme logotype des JO car c'est l'animal principal et roi de la savane et il est important que le Cameroun porte et soutienne son image grâce à cet animal. Il s'agit d'un animal puissant et il montre un aspect fort, puissant,et respectueux.
Concernant la typographie je la trouve en adéquation totale avec ce type d'évenement, typographie non structurée ( sport, mouvement etc.. ) -
