We need a logo for our new (Belgium) company Duurzaam kantoor > translated: Sustainable office (https://www.duurzaamkantoor.be/). As you can see the name of the company is very clear, basic and 'straight forward'. We are therefore looking for a thought-through & symbol for the logo. A logo that if you look at it a little longer, you have an 'oh yeah!' moment.
In the appendix you will find examples of such logos and our color codes. These are examples where the letters of the company are not used in the symbol. This is also the case for Duurzaam Kantoor. We are not looking for the letters D&K implemented in a symbol/icon but a icon that fits a sustainable office.
The road to sustainability is very important, because you will not easily become a sustainable office. It's about a change of mindset and behaviour.

Beste Indra vandeven,
Hierbij mijn voorstellen voor het logo 'Duurzaam kantoor'. U ziet dat het beeldmerk bestaat uit een gestileerde paperclip (refenrentie naar kantooromgeving) en het stelt tevens een kantoorgebouw voor, met daarbij een boom/blad wat 'duurzaamheid' representeert. Ik hoop dat mijn stijlen u aanspreken.

Beste Indra,
Helaas heb ik gezien dat een andere ontwerper genaamd Umbra mijn idee voor het beeldmerk heeft overgenomen. Ik neem jullie niet kwalijk dat jullie zijn of haar ontwerp ook mooi vinden, maar het is simpelweg niet toegestaan om ontwerpen na te maken. Ik heb hiervan een melding naar Umbra toe gemaakt en tevens naar Brandsupply. Ik vind het heel vervelend dat dit gebeurt, maar als ontwerper is het onacceptabel om iemand met jouw werk er vandoor te zien gaan. Ik hoop dat jullie er begrip voor hebben dat ik in mijn positie hier aan de bel over trek. Maar het is gewoon kopieren, het is absoluut niet netjes en ik vrees ook dat deze ontwerper weinig creatief is om zelf iets goeds te creeëren. Graag hoor ik hoe jullie hier zelf over denken. Uiteraard ben ik bereid mijn ontwerp nog aan te passen naar wens, maar ik ben het er niet mee als deze ontwerper met dit ontwerp de wedstrijd zou winnen.

If you look closely you will see that the idea of my first work is a stylized SHEET inside the HOUSE. House and not staples! I just worked on that idea further. I'm sorry that my house design looks like a paper clip in its stylization. I did not copy anyone's work, but only followed my first and basic idea. It is not fair that my work has been removed. I am publishing it again and I will fight to prove that it is not a copy.12 winning works published on this site speak about my creativity. Best regards, Umbra
