Needs:
We'd like to design the logo of the new Convention Bureau of Milan, a network which unifies all actors involved in the promotion of the city as a destination for hosting business events. We are implementing a rebranding of the network so the logo will be used in all promotional campaign and marketing activities (website, newsletter, events, trade shows etc). It should represent and identify the city, attracting event organizers. The colour of the official logo of the Municipality of Milan is red (see file attached) and it's very simple and elegant. We'd like to have a logo which reminds the official one but it's not the same. In attachment you can see 2 examples of other logos. An option could be having the official Municipality logo modified as you wish, or also having the skyline of the city in vector form wich include stylized Duomo, Castle and the new skyscrapers of Unicredit Tower and the 3 new buildings of Citylife. We would like to have the New and Old city together.
Company description:
Our compamy is the venue manager of the Milan Convention Centre (Mico Milano Congressi) and also we created the Convention Bureau of MIlan. Right now the network is called Eventing Milan (www.eventingmilan.it) we with the aim to launch the new network and rebranding we want to change name and create a new logo.
Target group:
Our target group is made of event organizers (corporate and association) in order to attract them to Milan to organize their event. We need to promote the city for business tourism and events. The target is therefore made of professionals which organize events worldwide and they should chose Milan instead of other cities.
Colors, favourites and other requirements
It could have some little red and grey which are the official colour of the city (the same red as the logo attached of the Municipality of Milan)

Thanks for the submission! We like the use of the 2 colour and the fond you use. We don't really like the top tap with the crown shape and the fact that it's too similar to the official one as they use half of it too, they might tell us that we copy it. But you're on the good track, can you giove us more options? also the read line is too wide. thanks marta

Thanks for the submission. The logo is too joyful, it needs to represent Milan in a elegant and institutional way to attract events such as conference, congresses and exhibitions. If you want to can send us another proposal without the use of the Duomo but instrad trying to adapt the official logo that i attached in the brief. Kind regards Marta
