     from Late Latin mensurare "to measure," from Latin mensura "a measuring, a measurement; thing to measure by," from mensus, past participle of metiri "to measure," from PIE root *me- (2) "to measure." The native verb is mete. Intransitive sense of "to be of a (specified) measure" is from 1670s.

     I understand, but you mention that it doesn't appeal to you in the file sent,
     im a little confused now, as I tried to just change that to please you more
     with the result? Will try and think which other way it could work since
     you still want the 2 (square meter)? In the meantime if they are any of the
     names I came up with interest you let me know so I can concentrate on
     fitting it with the 2 (square m you want). Kind Regards

     hmm... for us it was the last letter m in the word modum, we thought it was a nice name because you can put a 2 next to it (square meter)

     it's just a slight variation, you still have the M at the beginning which can be m2? like m2, as a trademark and Modus, it's just a little bit more unusual I guess as it has not been used too much. Just another suggestion from the previous which was modum x2
